This is the Fender Hot Rod Deville III 212, another revamped amp from the Fender Hot Rod Series. The Fender Hot Rod Deville III offers bold clean tones and thunderous overdrive with it's all tube 60 watt platform. This 3rd incarnation of the Hot Rod DeVille 212 pumps out high headroom tones with a clean channel reminiscent of the legendary Twin Reverb, thanks to a 6L6 (2) power section driving 2 Celestion G12P-80 speakers. The Drive channel takes you from classic bluesy tube breakup to fat screaming solos with the footswitchable ore drive feature, all easily controlled with a master volume. The latest Fender Hot Rod Deville III 212 includes a non reflective black control panel, a redesigned rugged footswitch for all 3 channels and has gone through a series of tone circuit improvements. Fender also helps you expand your sound with an essential spring reverb, effects loop and extension speaker jack. - http://proguitarshop.com/store/amplifiers-fender-amplifiers-c-4_5/fender-hot-...

  • 2:44 !! Andy throws the pick to the ground to rock MORE !!

  • @wilrecar77 - There's a big difference between a solid state pedal and a solid state amp. Everyone's favorite solid state pedals often sound good because they are being run in front of a tube power amp, in which case the tube power amp is providing most of the tone. Run the same pedal into a solid state amp and it's a whole different ball game...a much, much, shittier ball game.

  • @lavh93 ammaring J Mascis

  • man.. that pinch harmonic at 0:56 how does he get that without a pick?? hes got magic fingers..

  • Andy could probably sell out large clubs while doing reviews.

Sometimes, when I'm tired of listening to radio, and my CD collection, and my MP3s...I come on here to listen to Andy play.

Get this man a tip jar...pronto!

  • Great demo...thanks for posting. The powder blue Strat that you play at 3:25....is it stock and what model is it? What I'm really after is the make/model of the p/u's. Thanks again.

  • @smOfficialMusic the wind cries mary is the first three chords anyway but dont know where the rest of it came from :)

  • Somebody needs to invent a pedal that makes your fingers sound like Andy's fingers... damn does he play well!

  • Whats the song he starts playing at 3:19

  • OMG THEM CROOKED VULTURES

Andy's incredible taste in music continues to amaze me.

In fairness, it's not a song, but the riff sounds like a Gunman mix, with a bit of Scumbag Blues in the chorus.

  • @ninjascience LMAO

  • The overdrive is a little too bassy for me, I like a little more treble than bass. Maybe it was because the last two guitars had single coil pickups, but the first guitar had humbuckers and it still sounded like too much bass. :/
