Matthews wasn't saying anything that's NOT true here. Part of the Clinton Machine was devoted to ruthlessly "kneecapping" their opponents. Matthews was right all around in his observations about the animosity that this type of behavior generates. And remember that old saying"Be careful how you treat the people on your way UP, cause they're the same people that you'll be seeing on the way DOWN."
