Police Raid Underage Drinking Party on Lightstreet Road

(Updated 9:43 AM) Bloomsburg Police raided an underage drinking party at 392 Lightstreet Road, around 12 AM early Friday. The party was located in the Lightstreet Luxury Townhomes student housing complex near Penn Street. A night time search warrant was executed after an undercover officer was able to enter the residence, and charged $5.00 for admission to drink from a keg.

Police initially detained around 45 people that were attending the party. Police say 16 people were charged with underage drinking, and that 6 others are facing criminal charges for supplying and selling alcohol for the party. Bloomsburg Police were assisted by Bloomsburg University, Hemlock Township, and Scott Township police departments.

The cops did the right thing and arrest them or fined them. If they didn't showed up then those underage drinkers could be driving home and putting everyone's life in the line. And of the drinking age is 20 or 21 then its 20 or 21 not 14,15,16,17and 18 common sense ladies and gentlemen. I'm 16 and who needs to drink anyway. I don't need it and it kills all your brain cells which makes you stupid. So it your going to drink start when your 21 or don't drink at all.
