If Genevieve had been the official actress, this season wouldn't have even lasted one season. She's so stale and you can barely understand her. Janeway is crisp, emotional, more commanding on stage and even seems much nicer.

voyager was a great series... kate is a fantastic actress!! the whole teacher/nanny/mother/captain vibe she's got going made her the perfect choice for the role. another of my favourite things about voyager was seven of nine's perfect physique... she was packing some heavy weapons thats for sure... resistance IS futile, pointless, gay... "bend over seven, i have an implant for you..."

the only good role Bujold would of fit was as a borg. she already had no passion for the role as captain. Tuvok was sounding more passionate then Bujold. That was just odd.

I cant imagine this woman going crazy and travelling back in time to tell her younger self how to get home faster and breaking every rule she can.

Bujold seems wooden, but then we're looking at this in retrospect and it feels wrong because we know the character that Mulgrew portrays. Not to mention the fact that the comparison is between an unfinished scene with no post process and the scene that was actually used, complete with different stance set up, foley, effects and whatnot.

SO weird, at the Megacon yesterday TimRuss (Tuvoc) at the panel said that he never met the lady and could not comment on the nature of her dismissal. Weird but whatever, maybe he was just bypassing a messy conversation too much for a panel, sides he was TRULY a nice fellow and he really respects the audience as well as RobertPicardo(The Doc who was also there). Nicole here is CLEARLY a good actress but the chemistry is all wrong and she lacks Janeways passion. Glad Kate got it.
