  • @SolderingGeek I've been using 375C (700F) is this too hot then? I'm mostly using drag soldering on smd's, so the iron isn't on the pins for very long.

  • No, it is flux and it is used to enhance solder wetting.

  • @Ne3s23p2 it turns out that i found a wide variety of flux and solder (seperately) at radioshack. Maybe you should try there...
