@lavenderparfume they join the military to defend the values and freedoms that they enjoy in their country. It's easy to take these things for granted, but many places around the world don't have this, and we must all value the importance of this and have respect for those who are ready to sacrifice all for these rights

@shiguy12 women aren't allowed to serve in direct combat situations as of yet im not 100% sure if that applies to medical specialists, corpsmen, medic, whatever they go by

the Marines Don't have medical personnel, they use Navy Corpsman, doctors, Nurses and Dentists.

@shiguy12 take your base medical training, EMT. Train up first, then have something to offer. other than that you will be put in a place.

I am a teenage girl, but I know for a fact that I am going to join the US Military. I want to join the Marines but as much as I am thankful for it, I am not interested in sitting behind desks or working on food prep. I want to be there. I want to be in the action. My true desire is to be medically involved as well, but like I said, I am not interested in sitting in back. I want- no- I need to be there beside the men and be there to help.
