Johnny Appleseed Festival September 2007

Every year in Fort Wayne, IN, we have a festival to celebrate the life and times of John Chapman, better know as "Johnny Appleseed."

Although I don't go to the festival every year, the weather was perfect for a day out of the house. Here is a short slideshow/video of the days events.

Went to the Johnny Appleseed Fest in 2005, when my husband and I lived there. It was nice to see this video.

I live about a mile away from Johnny Appleseed Park and each year even when I can't attend I can hear the cannons going off. It's always a fun time.

I don't get to the festival every year, even though I live within walking distance. I do try to make it as often as possible. Nice to meet another from Fort Wayne.
