This scene right here is exactly why Rory and Jess belong together. They understand each other. They make each other better. They're just... perfect. And let's not forget that Jess was the guy who loved her the most.

They really were perfect together. She made him into a better person, he wasn't so angry after being with her. And he supported her immensely. They were on same intellectual level. So meant to be.
