@owaisinus At 6:25 he's talking about how in the early days, when they would leave the gigs they played at, there would be a bunch of guys trying to get in fights with them. He says he'd put Ronan under one arm and Stephen under the other arm (presumably because they were the youngest and smallest) and then they'd run out.
At 7:25, he says they'd act like bodyguards for when Ronan would get the money for a gig... but that all the money they got was 30 quid (about $45 USD, really not a lot).
