This is a little 12V generator I made for camping trips and to run radio equipment and other essentials during an emergency. It's gasoline powered and can give me a constant 10A when running the engine just above stall speed, at that rate it takes several hours to chew through a tank of gas, giving me pretty good economy of power.

  • alternator is turning the wrong way...

  • dude your camera has ringworm....

  • that's actually a real briggs engine that was used on a piece of equipment made by MTD/Yard Machines, most likely an edger

  • should produce exciter voltage if you tac up rpm's for a few seconds

  • nice little set up. Just right for camping trips :D

  • someone has waaaay toooo much time on their hands...

  • how much rpm does it rotate

  • have you tried to see if it can handle a larger battery? as it starts to suck power?
