I was on the Munro from 1991 to 1993. This is nice weather. :) I loved it when it was like this, but I am wierd.

On big days like this, it's like being on a ghost ship. Most of the crew are in the head puking or in their rack trying to keep from puking. I Served aboard CGC Morgenthau (preFRAM) and CGC Munro (postFRAM) 1988 to 1991. Four ALPATs and one southPAT. Not always so fun, but very memorable. I made some good friends there. Too bad I lost touch with them. Chris and Paul P. you out there?

Most of us are not used to the hostile nature of the Bering. Bump the winds up to 45kts and add a splash of 10 foot seas for good measure and the true measure of Mother Nature's humbling powers become all too evident.
