@kolgeyt yeah, nowadays with the advent of cheap high quality digital recording just about anyone can get decent recordings...back in the day it was really expensive, so much so that the ones who could afford it were usually the bands that already made it.

Immortal songs. I still know each melody. I was in a well, band in the 60's...My father was musically interested enough to help us...instruments and all...I was on lead guitar...my next brother bass and our youngest drums.Too bad, no cams then and the recorders were reel tapes...so no recorded materials from my band D' Sparks...Thank you....

The original was done by Paul Johnson's Bel-Airs(61)...I like this Ventures version, with added band members vocal harmony...a surf class performance indeed, even though The Ventures were not a surf band. ;-)
