Roger Federer vs Robin Söderling Wimbledon 2009 R16

Roger Federer played a big serving match against Robin Söderling in their eleventh meeting in their careers (not counting exhibition tournaments). Söderling did good to keep up in Federers pace but his serve and consistency failed him at the most important moments.

@Steve0904 7 finals, 4 titles, a quarterfinal at wimbledon, has beaten Federer, Hewitt, Djokovic, Tsonga, Verdasco, Blake, etc. Karlovic can play. He might not offer a whole lot in terms of variety, but what he does have, he does it paretty much better than anyone. Somebody once told him that he was one dimensional, just a server, he replied by saying 'I must be a genius to only win with one shot.' And anyway, 90's grass court tennis was more or less Karlovic style tennis.

@aggbala That was a highly entertaining match. Fed was superb to deal with Ivo's serves as easily as he did and it was a throwback to 90s tennis with short points and great serve and volleying.
