The contact faces of the adjacent corrugated plates touch, forming fragmentary inter-channels so the internal motion inside the heat exchangers is extremely turbulent; this makes it possible to obtain very high heat exchange coefficients.

- the possibility of modifying the heat exchange potential by simply adding plates.
