░▒▓█ Golden Axe II Sega Genesis/Mega Drive (second showing)

While still a few videos shy of my 100th, here it is at last!

But not without several days of of hard work though.

When I discovered by accident to my great surprise that sequel actually incentivises players with more points for more magic kills, and what's more with further confirmation from gamefaqs.com member 'glacialbear', I knew without a doubt that the face of the game would take a big change.

Along my journey to produce a better video (I got an earlier one for about 132.7 points but felt that it didn't look very good) I have also come to understand and enjoy mage overkills and more importantly, the "cosy corner" flaw (that showed the AI to be either very chivalrous or very stupid) - the combination of all these that you see in this video.

I might plan on doing a third one soon. Thank you for watching.

** Thanks also to that unreal Hollywood "gamer" taipion and his crony's TAS-manufactured video of the first Golden Axe game that I watched, experimented with and mastered the idea of repeated weapon thrusting at the enemy without needing to corner him beforehand. At least this bit is real - a glimmering truth from the heap of falsehood.

*** No "tool-assisted recording" or orchestrated slowdown or re-patching or gaming cheats or anything that's disgusting - this is the real thing. TASes are by monkeys.

Here it is. I hope you'll enjoy watching it especially if you've played and enjoyed this game before. Gameplay is as freakish as its predecessor, but control is smoother.

Music is 11/10 and illustrates the theme really well.

I had this game in deep childhood. And I never liked it because the movement are awkward, enemies are stupid, but you're dead if there're more than two on the screen. And I had some really great games at the moment, so GA2 was something was released I had no idea why. But the music is great.

Thanks for that video! I haven't seen these levels since 1995.
