Gene Dorio, MD, Geriatric and Internal Medicine, speaks on the healthcare crisis currently facing California. He stresses that by the time the baby boomers go into retirement that there will be very few physicians to take care of them and he also emphasizes that the worst shortage will be with the general practitioners. Gene Dorio practices Geriatrics at the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Santa Clarita Valley. He has been practicing in Santa Clarita for 23 years. He presented the PBS Bill Moyers interview with Robert Reich, PhD, Professor of Public Policy at UC Berkeley.
