So what? Just trim the pins a bit so it will line up. Also, the pins don't line up because of the non-standard arduino spacing between the header. So really it is a mistake by arduino, that they won't fix.
No need to pay 2x the price for that little problem. If it wasn't working correctly that's a different thing, but this is just simple connecting issue.
