An unidentified flying object, or UFO, forced an airport in a major Chinese city to shut down operations for an hour, various reports said. According to state media outlet China Daily, the incident happened at Hangzhou's Xiaoshan Airport last Wednesday, when it appeared at about 8:30 p.m. The object did not show up on radar, the report said. The report said this is the first time a Chinese airport has been shut down due to an UFO sighting. Officials say they remain unsure what the object was. An unknown source told China Daily the UFO may have been military-related.
