Here it is folks! The Warboss Taetorial on how to paint a bunch of women with crabs...pincer arms! =D

Paints I used in this video:

GW FOUNDATION Dheneb Stone
GW WASH Ogryn Flesh
GW COLOUR Chaos Black
GW COLOUR Codex Grey
GW WASH Badab Black

That is for the basic skin and for half of the clothes/accessories in the order you will use them. For the hair/claws/talons/horns/other accessories, I used a variety of colors. Depending on what your tastes are, you can use the following:

RED
GW COLOUR Dark Flesh
GW COLOUR Bleached Bone
GW WASH Badab Black

BLUE
GW COLOUR Hawk Turqoise
GW COLOUR Ice Blue
GW WASH Asurmen Blue

YELLOW
GW FOUNDATION Iyanden Darksun
GW WASH Gryphonne Sepia
GW COLOUR Bleached Bone

GREEN
GW FOUNDATION Gretchin Green
GW WASH Ogryn Flesh
GW COLOUR Bleached Bone

  • The Title? You mean Chaos right?

  • @MrRabidCat Yes lol I love me some Chaos-ey Crab Ladies!

  • Thanks for posting this tutorial, it was very informative! I had been pondering on how to paint my own daemonettes and this gave me some good ideas. I guess you could probably say that the change in the sculpts reflects Slannesh's ever changing moods. Feeling dark, monstrous first version, feeling sexy, the hyperboobified version, no particular mood, these ones. It would be interesting to have some of each in the army. --Dancougar82

  • @Dancougar82 Thank you! I'm glad it was able to give you some ideas =D

I really love your army fluff idea, I think that's perfectly in keeping with Slaanesh, and I think if I ever add to this army, I would definitely paint up a darker, more monstrous version! Thanks for the suggestion!

  • maybee I will come back to that when I am using some demonets for some lesser demons for my csm. great tuto, buddeh!

  • @Phile700 Thanks for the compliment, my friend! Sorry I didn't respond sooner =D

  • @WarbossTae nevermind :P

  • @WarbossTae Glad I could be of service! They had some old Daemonettes up on Ebay right now but they are pretty pricey. Yikes! Oh well, one can always luck out on the bidding! :) --Dancougar82

  • @Lostsoul1889 I agree, the original baldies aren't really my style, and these do have a 'model on the catwalk' look that I really like. Thanks for the compliments!

  • @KainTLA thank you! I'm glad u like the yellow and the color scheme!

  • @bazZy33K thanks haha, I think I went with those muted greens and fellows because they wouldn't stick out as much as a brighter golden yellow or goblin green. I might go back and redo them later, but for now, I think they make a pretty cohesive unit =D
