The US and its allies are losing in Afganistan because just like Veitnam its failing to win hearts and minds Bullets and bombs is not going to bring about peace in Afganistan. Helping the Afgan people to live better lives would help make a much safer and better future for the country and for the West as well. War there is certainly not the Answer its the problem.
