This video displays the attributes that make Scottie Pippen one of the best NBA defenders of all-time. Few players, if any, can say they have the complete defensive game of Pippen whether it's one on one defense, perimeter defense, post defense, steals, blocking shots, taking charges. The man simply did it all on the defensive end of the floor and no one to this day has duplicated his defensive game. Hall of Fame inductee 2010.

Easily one of the 5 best defensive players ever, and you can arguebly say the best defensive player ever. People have to remember this about Pip, just because he did'nt avg. 25-30 points a game, does'nt make him not be one of the best players ever, because he is. You have to keep in mind everything this cat did, he facilitaed the offense, he scored, rebounded, passed the ball, could score outside, attack the basket, post up. He also could defend anyone, perimeter or post. A most complete player.

@aDezenT Carried by Jordan?? Were you even a fan of the NBA in the 90s?? The 93-94 Bulls won 55 games WITHOUT Jordan and made the conference semi-finals (losing to the Knicks in 7 games). No, Pippen could not have won a title without Jordan and Pippen was certainly not the 2nd greatest player of all time by any stretch, BUT Jordan didnt win any without Pippen either. The guy was EASILY a top 50 all time player and one of the top 5 defensive players of all time, there's really no debate on that.
