Even a piece of scum such as a convicted murderer can most likely give you a rapid explanation as to why they felt they needed to kill a certain individual.
But, as it seems we live in a country where accountability for the decisions one chooses to make is no longer even needed in our modern era, it is no surprise we are at war with a nation where even our generals don't even know why we fight.
Didn't the Nazis also have the same excuse? They were just following orders?

The thing is here, we are talking about war, and the loss of thousands of lives. This is pretty serious business, even more serious than the internet according to some.
So it seems reasonable to me, that if you should ask any single person who is involved in either declaring, or supporting this war, or otherwise actively participating in the effort whether or not the fight is important and necessary, the answer should come instantaneously.
