Carl Cestari shows the proper way to execute a Chin Jab. I put this clip on Youtube because there are almost no good vids which show what a Chin Jab is and how its done properly.

  • Seriously , who gives a ....? I put these vids on youtube to show a litlle more than the standard 30 sec clips that are around.

There are quite a few discussion boards out there where you can discuss all the details.

  • so who knows why this guy is missing his right ring finger?

  • some say it was a accident..some say it was a fight, some say it was because of his diabetis.....

  • @CQB72 He DIDN'T loose a finger during an arrest, so get your FACTS straight, he didn't lose his finger till around 2000 extracting several dopers from a family members residence which lead one of them being admitted to the hospital......(FACT #3)

  • @CQB72 Carl resigned for RPPD (April 1982), was leaving to enter the U.S. Army later that mouth and was involved in an accidental shooting at his residence in Plainfield, NJ prior to leaving for the Army.... (FACT #2)

  • notice carl has his finger missing like Altair in Assassins Creed one?

  • Which DVD is this from?

  • @wmegenney Carl taught Damian Ross who intern taught Chris Pizzo. Pizzo didn't learn all that well and had little contact with Carl. Trust me Mr. Ross is a force to be reckoned with, but Carl remains the man. He learned from the best and was constantly learning, and he had plenty of real world experience. I assure you learning with Mr. Ross is very much worth your time. Pizzo in my opinion isn't worth it.

  • @stecha2 It was a fight where he wasn't trying to hurt the person (he knew him and the person was a drug addict), and it was bitten and became infected sadly. Didn't slow Carl down at all though.

  • haha thats damian ross the instructor of self defense training company training in the same studio in his videos as chirs pizzo in his close combat videos lol interesting... to see how they are all intertwined.. but after wathcing all 3 guys cestari is obviously the best.

  • This man is a professional. I'm very grateful that you uploaded some of his videos. I have dealt with many different self defenses for about 6 years now (doing boxing and jiu jitsu and judo in the past, aswell as 4 years taekwondo and many selfdefense training camps combined with roman greco wrestlin). This man does show techniques that have proven to be very efficient and you can use them even though your opponent was bigger. Thank you mister cestary, very good fighter

  • These techniques are so devastating, these techniques are very useful and affective. These techniques are for real life situations not outside the ring where standing your ground and sparing will really get you killed. I've seen clips of martial artists that try to promote quick punches and stands that need to be remembered. What I find funny is that when the person is under stressed induced fear and the heart is at 160 BPM, can the person really remember to close a fist?

  • Some Facts:

Carl was first a Cop in Roselle Park, NJ from around 1978 to April 1982..., in between then he transferred over to Amtrak Police (NJ & NY), then went back to his original agency in Roselle Park, NJ .....(FACT #1)

He did in fact loose a finger dealing with
