It's just a matter of time before someone makes a MIDI translator for video game consoles that would make it easy to use REAL midi controllers in video games. I would assume it's possible since consoles are essentially computers. THEN, gaming will actually cross the boundary of real world experiences and actually teach and/or improve a person's skill. and... You'd be using the same REAL equipment so skills learned in a game would transfer to the stage or studio. hmmm.

I liked Dj hero... as a dj i realize what's a game... and what is real, doesn't make one less fun, or not fun at all. If people want a game that's 'exactly like' real djing... then learn how to really DJ. if you just want to have fun... games are fun. there is places in the world for both.

Some people like madden and y2k and other console sports games i prefer to go outside and play... doesn't make one worse than the other.

I dont give a fuck if you are a "real DJ" you are just a new recruit prick that joined the people that are "real guitar players" that dont like guitar hero and rockband,that get all mad and bitchy because there are more people getting interested in something you like. You probably would have said the same shit if this came out before DJ Hero. Probably afraid someone will get into DJing and be better than you.

Im some one who appreciates good music not someone who feels like they are better than someone because there is a video game of something I do. DJ Hero 1 was beasty and judging the fact you made the comment a year ago trying to be all badass saying "it sucks balls" (what are you in the 3rd grade?) a year later the second game came out and people love not only the first game but the second also.

The only thing wrong with the promo is the same thing I hear on most DJ post on here...NOBODY WANTS TO HEAR THAT LOUD ASS CLICKING SOUND! DJ's aren't deaf! You don't hear that clicking in the club so why turn the narrator's voice up but turn down the mix. Sounds like BULLSHIT to me.
