German shepherds are a much more popular breed (but still have a somewhat shaky reputation) yet there are less of them than Pitbulls on this list. And furthermore, there are more Pitbulls than any other type on the list, even if they don't make up the majority. This should tell you something.

The Pit Bulls living in the area vs the Pits on the list is exponential. There are thousands of Pits in the surrounding area with only 14 on the list.
Even though the Pit Bull may have the most on this list. It's assuming they are "pit bull type"
Now, jump on this and attack me all you want. But the fact remains. Not all Pit Bulls are dangerous.
I mean hell, there are as much Golden Retrievers on this than there are Akita's, Chows, and GSDs

Also, the simple fact remains, the bigger the population of a subject.......the more incidents will arise.
Thats why we need push spay and neutering on the "I want to breed him/her just once"
