Suppression.

Dude remove suppressor

I believe it's just the game trying to make it more balanced. as in if the CQB really can make a fast acquisition on target it would be better to fire medium to long ranges with the CQB sight than a magnified scope as you can acquire targets much faster and be just as accurate.
I guess they really want the sight to be really CQB as possible.

I was using the M39 with Red Dot and I noticed the rounds always fly below the dot, and that is only 30m away. Guess I'll just use the ACOG instead

good, recon class is for spotting enemies at long range. if your rushing with a sniper your not helping your team
-
The laser does not show exactly where it will go though, because you have to take bullet drop into consideration.

Because BF3 isn't COD.

I HATE BATTLEFIELD 3. gave up on it after the first day and went back to bfbc2
-
does this on all guns not just sniper rifles its the random bullet spread shit they added into the game

If you want to see how it works, put a laser on the sv98 with the 7x scope. Move/turn while zoomed. You'll notice that the laser (which shows exactly where the shot will go) is not always matched in the center of the sights.
@Terminox I've had this problem recently while using iron sights on the sniper rifle, which normally has no accuracy issues. However once I equipped the silencer, my bullets don't seem to be as zeroed in as they used to be. Have you tried to use the CQB sights without a supressor?

@Koniving Yeah I do it all the time without a silencer. I did it this time for the novelty. Check out the link within the video, you'll see how fast the irons without a silencer are for aim-in.

Dude, last time I checked if I have correct sight alignment and correct sight picture even in a rushed shot my bullet doesn't hit off axis by 15-20 degrees. Trust me, game is jacked. USPSA three gun and 8 years in the Marine Corps tells me this...

@speedfreak247 THIS. This is exactly what I'm trying to say to all the folks who are asking me to 'quickscope' in real life. The fact is that a correctly zeroed weapon should and will hit what it's aiming at.
