@SethBlizzard Because It's not at all true to the original. If you made characters of your own, you would want them to be portrayed the way you wanted them to be portrayed instead of some stupid spin off show that was only made to sell toys. The TMNT 80's show portrayed the turtles as well as the villains as stupid, incompetent, silly and totally child friendly to the highest degree. I want to see them as Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird intended them to be. I can do without Bebop and Rocksteady

@moesamuri But why not? Personally, I don't buy this "we gotta keep things they originally were" attitude. There is such a thing as concept development; the TMNT concept developed to inlcuded e.g. Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady (created by Eastman & Laird themselves). I miss Rocksteady and Bebop, for example, they gave a lot of character to the show's villains. I don't think you should continually scrap everything but the original idea.

Funny thing, Splinter was going to die in Season 2 of Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation had it been made. The Dragon Lord probably would have killed him. I'd have liked to see where they would've gone with that development. Raph would've wanted serious payback.

I wanna hang out with you guys and just discuss TMNT. Totally agree on Rocksteady and Bebop, they're supposed to be badass! They were in the first '87 season. They need a comeback - they better be in Nickelodeon's new show, at least.
