Silver Price $38, Inflation at Walmart, Hyperinflation rapidly approaching

Silver price above $38 again gold price at $1433. Inflation is here says Wal-mart ceo. Prices will increase at walmart stores. This will give other retailers who compete against walmart the green light to raise their prices as well. The many families across the country who have gone through or are experiencing their own economic collapse will now feel an even greater pinch.

Hyperinflation is rapidly approaching and James Turk says we are at the start right now. The gold price measured against major currencies bares out the fact that hyperinflation is at hand. The Fed is continuing to destroy the dollar and there is no economic recovery. Silver bullion, gold bullion and precious metals will hold their purchasing power.

So... When all the fiat money becomes totally worthless, what's to keep the worlds governments from going back on a gold standard and confiscating all the gold and paying something like 2 cents on the dollar? The U.S. did it in 1933...

@happymax1 Hopefully the second amendment. But I think the Gov would be hard pressed to confiscate silver which is used in industry, as well as money. Besides the gov would never willingly go back on a gold standard because it restricts their spending. A more likely scenario would be they just create another fiat currency. Perhaps they tie it loosely to precious metals, but I don't think they would institute a hard gold standard. Just my opinion of course.

@randude1 depends on your situation and how safe you feel about each stage.

Stage 1, Starting chaos. Need: Ammo, Water

Stage 2, Chaos settles, main factions grow, millita, government soldiers, revolutionary parties, gangs. Need: Ammo, Food, Water

Stage 3, Major battles are won or lost, border lines are set. Basic Economy will restore behind enemy lines. Need: ammo (for hunting) food, Valuable Items and equipment for trade.

Stage 4, Basic Trade (including physical gold and silver)
