I agree, this is one of my top 5 faves. If you like this movie, you should also check out Phenomenon. You may have ready seen it. Same guy who made Powder... Victor Salva, and it's another sad yet feel good movie.

@MrThesheenster hmm... not exactly sure what u mean by "evolution" since what u describe would never come about due to medical and technological advancements delaying what was already a super-slow evolutionary process in humans. but it's a nice little fairy tale.

Maybe it's just me and my perspective of this is wrong. But I always viewed Powder as an angel in the form of a human body, who displayed the concept of perfect love, beauty, compassion, and wisdom. In the end he was brought home away from the disgustness and evil of the world.
