  • Well when they say "A white doesn't have rhythm!" They never heard of the bodhran!

Let's just put this behind us!

You might like breakdancing and rap, I like step-dancing and celtic music. You don't like it? Leave.

  • I could kill the camera team, though!

With such glorious footwork, why film close ups of their heads???

  • @celticspirits5

It's the Irish language. Oscail an doras is 'open the door' in Irish. Welsh is much different and there is no such language as 'Celtic'

  • This was my favorite part of this whole show! When I was little, I watched it alllll the time! xD I still wish I could have been a Riverdancer.

  • @badback22 Wow, I love your honest comment, but from my part I never took your comment as a complain ;)

I thought you were reacting to someone else who complained about the close-ups.

Well... it was probably the time of commenting (it was around 0:00 AM at my place when I wrote that, not the best time)

  • @weeardguy Ive watched it again and dont know why I complained, its just fine. The stage is enormous and impossible to fill and the audience on both sides had to see something. I dont know why I complained and I love it and I retract in full and grovel in mortification! :)

  • @badback22 Indeed, as far as I know this dates from 2002 and HD was something that didn't exist yet (or at least it wasn't interesting enough commercially seen) then you'll have to get close.

Jumping high is indeed incredible, but it also takes incredible strength and endurance ;)

  • Is the language irish, welsh or celtic?

  • @jannevr ok, but what is the soloists saying? are they just lilting or does it actually have meaning?

  • @elizasparrow Because those gorgeous singing lads need close-ups!

  • I want this song! But I can't find it anywhere. :(

  • @elizasparrow They are frequently spread too far apart from each other, hard for eye to follow, didnt know where to look. That being said... I love Irish Dance, especialy when they jump high!
