I bought Tracey's "A Distant Shore" way back when it came out and sit here gasping at how well she has matured as a songwriter. Has it really been 30 years? unfucking believable-and she sounds brilliant. love your music still...

I was just talking with a friend about how one of Tracey's songs took us way back...and I just happened to look her up again and found this song. WOW! This just takes my breath away...Perfectly captured the fear and sadness that encompasses the topic. Every time it happens, it spooks the whole herd. Everyone around them examining their own relationships and hating to see a pair part. Such a powerful, emotionally invested song on so many levels.
