I recently moved and in the process my LCD TV screen was damaged. Since it was beyond repair, I decided to have a little fun and destroy an expensive piece of technology. Dan just happened to purchase a bow and some arrows recently, so we decided that there was no better way to test them out.

  • what you should of done was pretend it was fine and you just hate the make or something then see everyones reactions LOL, anyways my 42inch HDtv just messed up so i might have to do something like this lol.

  • I already catch shit from idiot viewers for breaking a BROKEN TV. If they thought it was fully functional I'd probably be getting death threats from these morons.

  • Relax - it's obviously a broken tv anyway with no warranty left - so why not have some fun with it.

  • Thank You!! Finally there's someone who understands a little mindless destruction of expensive electronics.

  • I can't believe you did this! Your idiot. First, the various components of an lcd screen this size (inverter board, tubes, ic's) are worth loads! and second, all the various chemical components of the TV is really dangerous for your health. Thanks God that your not blind by now.

  • You guys keep talking about how expensive the parts are. Obviously, I DON'T FUCKING CARE. I never intended on getting any money back when I bought the TV so why the hell would I care what happens after its broken? How about everyone just enjoys the destruction and let me worry about my bank account.

  • @godofdaredevils No, its probably a small digital camera. Remember that this is from 2008. :p Technology has come a long way.

  • @wemosam Look on E-Bay, a Tcon Board can go as high as $75-$100, I power supply the same, Christ, just the various ribbon cable sets can fetch $20-$50. BTW, the reason they are all so cheap nowadays is because they are made like shit. Look at how long a old CRT would last, 10-25+yrs??? The average LCD/LED TV has a lifespan of about 3-5yrs, Do the math, and they are easily triple the price of the older CRT's. Thats not by accident either. People are so easily distracted nowadays it's too easy!!!

  • Filmed with a potato?

  • Seriously, you cant get shit for the parts, look at the prices of these tvs, I work at a recycling facility, and we break these tvs the same way practically, and then seperate what we didnt have to break to get the things apart. Also these tvs are completely safe to destroy (for a safety standard) as for the environment, I hope they did there part to pick up the pieces, but its not like liquid crystal is gonna leak into the ground. all tvs today are built crt free.

  • @dexter111344 LMAO!

  • Dude that isn't cool! Why the fuck did you do that to the TV?! You should have used set it on fire.

  • get a gun and do it

  • ansome ame dude

  • this reminds me of Office Space
