I love that bit of Tinker Tailer, when Benedict is in the car, following Gary and what's-his-name (brain spasm). Because I hadn't read the book at that point, I thought Benedict was going to run them over, thinking that for some reason, Gary was going to die in this movie like he has in so many others.

Despite how much of a Cumberbitch I am, I'd not have been able to look at Benedict the same again had that happened. There's been too many traumatic Gary deaths already. I don't need another.

Gary's so locked into the Hollywood movie making system, I think that's the first time I've ever heard him speak with his normal London accent. Easy to forget that he's NOT American. Definitely one of the all time great UK character actors, up there with Alec Guinness and Laurence Olivier.
