*This* was the killer Sparks lineup - Iove em in any form (except for the seemingly endless dance period)- but they never sounded as good as here.

I think the real diff was Dinky Diamond and his inventive drumming. Like Keith Moon, he was irreplaceable.

My first encounter with Sparks was songs like ''Let's go surfing'', ''Senseless violins'' and ''now that I own the BBC''. In my head I used to describe Sparks as ''panic inducing'' band :) Not in a bad way! But I mean, just listen to this one! :)

To me, their songs often have this feeling of hurry and danger. Sure, with humour, but it's still panic. Especially their 70s period and their 21st century period :)

It's only my impressions tho :)
