Text Rant: Obsessed Boyfriends and Girlfriends

These types of people make me sad since they want a relashionship...but don't know the first thing about relashionships at times...let alone starting it and keeping it going.

I'm single and I don't have any type of experience with this, but I have to agree. If your relationship doesn't turn out too well with your boyfriend or girlfriend, you always have friends and family to support you.

I must point out that there are also single people who cry and complain that they want a man or woman to come to them. It takes time - WAIT for that time to come. I just happen to be one of the few who is PROUD to be single.

I'm single myself...and will continue to be until I find the right person...and not before.

Today relashionships are so glamorized that its seen as being worng to be single...like their has to be something wrong with you for being single.

Once I was in class and when a group of girls found out I didn't have a boyfriend they acted like such idiots. Asking questions like if I was trying to get attention or that maybe a weigh too much...things which do not, and SHOULD NOT matter.

This sounds like my old Valentine rant, lol. Great points, Colhan. A lot of people who throw fits over their boy or girlfriend are usually in high school and can't process the full meaning of the word "love" so they do dumb things and get themselves hurt. I also hate when people who cheat crawl back to their partner saying they love them and didn't mean it. If they loved them, they wouldn't have cheated in the first place. End of story.

I hate when guys or girls are upset that their GF or BF broke up with them...and then try to get back at them...its like "How dare you break up with me!"

Right! It takes time and dedication to say i love you.

I mean guys get girlfriends thinking its cool at my school and they ruin it because they act bad to their GF's.

I agree with this 100% My parents have also been married for 20 years and they're happy. I myself have never been in a relationship, and I'm OK with it. I don't want to rush into it either. But I have a question though: What is your opinion on online relationships? One of my online friends just got into one and I myself disagree with it because of all these things I hear about people getting hurt over online relationships...
