@schritzy this is the dumbest comment I have ever read.

Is the cathedral still there, it seems too have escaped damage.

I was just there earlier this year visiting a friend, climbed to the top of the Koln Cathedral, Its amazing how historical that Cathedral is. Took 500 years to build beginning in the 1200's! Its crazy to look down from it on the new city, nothing fits because everything is newly built from being destroyed from the war. I remember her telling me about her grandma who survived the war and living in Koln. This was just as devastating for germans. Not all Germans agreed with Hitlers Politics!

Where did you get the pictures from?

Nie mehr Krieg! Never more war!

@cjmyers505 i think you lost the point to this media, maybe you should get educated and ponder your ignorance :)

@shaolinfingajab What are you after? Apart from some one to argue with.....The destruction of the aboriginal race in Tasmania has been well documented. Try reading a book......

@chloe7829 On top of the fact they signed the treaty and agreed to it...The whole world was poor after the great depression... not just Germany.
Also it seems strange, they seemed to have enough money to design and build tanks, planes, rockets, bombs, guns (all things that were not allowed under the treaty) and even host an olympics...why not just spend it on agriculture and commercial transport to sell on and make money? no excuse..
