Interesting version. The original Stan Rogers has much more of a rugged, labouring class feel to it, which I think I prefer, but this is also very good.
IMO, Stan Rogers' eastern lilt throws a more mariner flavor on it, and I prefer that. Or maybe I am just a huge fan and biased :) I can easily listen to either.
