The Cabinetto Organette was made by the Tournaphone Music Company of Worcester, Massachusetts, USA, during the 1880s - 1890s and was almost identical to the Tournaphone Organette. The Cabinetto was the version usually resold in the United Kingdom by various agents.
It uses a very large 13 1/4" wide paper roll; the slots in it allow air to flow in across the reeds, producing the sound. The roll is driven by a friction wheel from the handle, which also turns the crankshaft and activates movement of three feeders which extract air from the main reservoir.
Here the roll plays two tunes, 'Marching through Georgia' and 'Dixie'.
