  • i notice this wheel is different from the others you throw in is because d you use this one specificly for trimming

  • I was just too busy to set up my wheel so i used the one next to me.

  • Hello my name is Aaron im and I wanted to say that i think your really good at pottery making and that im in to ancent and middle aged history, so I like to make primitive things, thats how i found your videos I was wanting to learn how to make pottery, so I thought I would ask how much the pottery weels are because I have about 1,600$ in my bank account from saving over the last 2 summers, I work with my uncle on siding jobs he pays-well most of the time but so times he cheats me,plz wirte back

  • the cost of potting is more than a wheel and you can get them used for $400, but you also need a kiln and to get it wired you need all the tools you need lessons on how to use the tools watching free videos is not going to make anyone a potter it can help fill spots. I would suggest taking a class before buying any equipment.

  • Tim do you sharpen your tools or buy new ones?

  • I do sharpen I did today i sharpened all of them on a bench grinder with a fine stone with water.

  • hahaha i love how all the little triming scraps are knocking over stuff on your table

  • good

  • -drools-

I can't make a foot like that. I always fail, always. So, my pottery bottom ends up having a very smooth bottom with no foot, just a nice smoothness. But, I'm a beginner, I get a handicap. XD

  • You make a hard job look easy - Thanks Tim! Deb K

  • What clay are you using... specifically. I really like the look and I need to find a new clay. The one I am stuck with for now has to much grog in it, and it is rather hard. And not to mention it is at times very difficult to trim. Awesome videos by the way! Keep them coming!

  • Thanks
