They had made 3 complete records. Shades Of Liberty, Walk On Fire & Deep.

i've got three silent running mp3s i'll share if someone else can hook me up. i have young hearts, sticks and stones, and heartland. great music wish they had a cd!!!!

I remember Silent Running and yes they toured with Simple Minds and yes they wanted to be Simple Minds.A complete rip off of Simple Minds.Even in their videos they tried to copy Simple Minds.We used to call them Silent Minds or was it Simple Running whatever they where just a very bad 80`s band....

I discovered Silent Running just yesterday, and this is what I was thinking all day.
I was a teen when they came out, and yet had never even HEARD of Silent Running - despite being a fan of bands like Simple Minds and Tears for Fears.
They SHOULD have been massive. Their 1st album Shades of LIberty is fantastic. And it's never been released on CD!!!! What a crime.
I'd like to see it remastered and released.

Whow! I never thought to see them play live... thanks very much for sharing this with us. I digitalized the vinyl album and left the sound unchanged. What I great album.
