Hey! Nice car! Looking good Dillon! Not rockin the wrc wing anymore? Oh ya i'm Jacob Mager by the way. My dad is Mark Mager car 224. We are the Rallitek performance team Out of Washington State. We race in super production in the rally america championship. Currently i'm on the service crew but i'm getting my license soon so i'm getting an subaru 2.5 rs so i can get my two years in a non turbo car. Then i can move up to the sti
well if you a serious about getting into rally you should just buy a car.. building is a pain in the butt.. and yes it will still be street legal, it has to be to race.
sw33t, i'm in TX, so that's maybe a 5-hour drive. i if/when i get the Corolla, could you help with modding it a bit? basically, i want to get some of the weight reduction out of the way first, and then worry about other stuff later. i can probably take care of the seats and other upholstery, i just need a bit of help with the electronics.
also, once a car has been modified for rally, does that make it non-street legal anymore?
Well I didnt say they would fail, I just said that they arent a good idea... You dont need the ground clearance for the roads that we run in RA, and how is a suburban going to be competitive with a STi running flat out?
so... Toyota RAV4, Land Rover Freelander, and BMW X3 are teh fail?(crap, i have to go tell my friend in the UK that he's gonna fail)
btw, where is this? if/when i get my Corolla, i want to drive with you and mlbbaseball, if possible(i'll drive, even if it's far away. also, since i can't get an awesome 4wd corolla, it's be a '98 fwd one.)
