@PapilioPudibundus Yes, Ramin and his family moved from Iran when he was really little and then they took up residence in Canada.

He has a nice voice but I prefer Crawford, Jones & Worlow. Is he of Iranian descent? His name sounds persian. He's very cute too (not so much in this though).

@mitsygal Gerard was a rock singer, as per what Mr. Webber was looking for for the Phantom. But he was also touched up tremendously in this song and could barely sing it (listen to Down Once More to hear him hit an unadulterated A♭).
So in my opinion if Ramin added just a pit of edgy rock singer into his voice he'd be what a lot of the movie people are expecting without being jeopardizing what the role once was.
Summary: Gerard yells, Ramin mixes. I think you're confused by what "power" is.

in my opinion i like gerard as phantom since his version was the one i saw first. but don't get me wrong, he's diffrent from other phantoms and so are we. so there's no use compairing each of the phantoms. everyone has his/her favorite :)
