@wimpiedimpie they were there for aero and brake cooling purposes. But FIA banned them at the end of 2009.

Great vid mate... But, it seems like you're a Mclaren fan... Bcoz the vid mainly turn it's attention to Alonso and Hamilton instead of the Champion Kimi...
But that's basically the story isn't it?? Through out the 2007 season many thought it would be a Mclaren year (putting aside the spygate saga)... As a Ferrari fan, on the telly I'm always annoyed by Steve Slater's praises for Mclaren and especially Hamilton... However, like a sly fox, Kimi stole the crown away from the 2 silver car drivers :)

@elpocho722 when i made the video i was only trying to show highlights containing the 3 championship contenders and most of the best moments included the mclaren's so that's how it came out, Alonso is my favorite driver so definitely added everything that included him doing good things haha, not getting passed my heidfeld
