Part of the show is on DVD but it is only the first episode.

I think the big issue is that this is copy righted material and companies like Viacom have been getting a little sue happy over this. I don't know if they sued Youtube, but I would guess that Youtube cracked down as mostly a defensive action to prevent potential suing.
There was a guy on here about two years ago that had the whole series uploaded; and about a year ago he got taken down for copyright violation. Sadly, I've been unable to find this show since. It's not out on DVD either...

hey, i know this is late, but why would youtube crack down on this original opening? really curious as I've been trying to find it. it's better and more emotional than the other opening imo.
