You're welcome, glad I could help. That's what we're here for, to let the Spirit work through us, even in spite of us at times.

Try to awaken to the deeper calling of the Spirit & you'll find a more pure relationship is forming as you leave the human fallacies & doctrinal errors behind.

There wouldn't be a hundred 'Christian' denominations if they all agreed.

They don't, many to their destruction.

Jesus completed forgiveness for all, now come & believe it.

Damning faith in Jesus complete forgiveness, which cost his suffering & death, as no more than 'license' is pure egotistical evil.

You can't earn what Jesus died to complete no more than you can save yourself.

The 'effort' Jesus asks is faith & trust in him, not in yourself & your works.

Works are a natural result of the life changing indwelling of the Spirit allowed by faith in His power, not what you presume you, or someone else, should be doing.

@0ndrous The trouble is that many use the free "gift" as a license to sin. Corruption makes a nice bed in Christianity. All you have to do, according to many "Christians", is say you're sorry. Oh yeah, but you really have to mean it. Give me a break. God desires effort in return for love. Jesus is not a free pass. "For he will help those who help themselves." Nothing is free... Nothing.

What is a "Christian"? Someone who follows Christ?

Why would anyone 'follow' Christ, so they can have THIER backs turned into hamburger, have half their muscles & ligaments pulled out of place and then be run through with a sword?

I prefer "Christian" to mean one who knows Christ in His passion for us.

His totally completed forgiveness and encouragement to believe in the Father, accepting His free gift of eternal life & love

@bayz102 Overtouring. He stretched his vocal cords in order to hit those good sounding screaming high notes. Eventualy this destroyed his voice. Which is why he doesn't even try to hit those high notes when hes performing live.
