Just so you know, that floor is not plyo floor. There is no extra bounce to it. HAHA! When I decided to trick in this room, I actually thought it was going to be plyo floor, but then found out it's basically just a carpeted hard surface. Oh well. Not my best tricking day, but decided to upload footage anyway.

  • I'm glad your back in the game Mr Old School tricker! :)

  • @MrStarfoot89: Dude! I am honored to have you comment one of my videos. You are one badass tricker, Mr. Starfoot. And your side kicks are godlike. You inspire me to keep working on my side kicks. Thanks for the comment. I hope to be tricking a lot more this year. ;P

  • Nice and clean :) how would you recommend getting your head round b twists, I can do basic flips and some variations, but b twists have always left me confused?

  • @tomstrickingvlog: Oh, dude. Yeah, b-twists have a totally different feel than standard flips. So many different muscles are being used. I recommend just starting out with regular butterfly kicks. Just drill those like crazy until you get them super high and floaty. Once you get your b-kicks really high, then b-twists are just a matter of turning over at the very peak of your jump. You might also try checking out Jujimufu's butterfly twist tutorial on YouTube. Hope that helps.

  • @Cubehead666: Ahahaha! Yeah, I saw that years ago, but it's been awhile. I just watched it again now. Juji is a funny motherfucker! But yeah, I have read a lot of literature/articles about how to recover properly. I have a pretty good, healthy diet, but I've just been trying to do too much lately. And I'm probably just being a whiny emo. ;P

  • @MagovernMartialArts Have you seen Juji's recovery video? youtube.com/watch?v=OAv0rt7F2x0

  • @Cubehead666: HAHA! Thanks. I'm doing my best to get back into it, but it's pretty tough for me. And on top of it, I'm still trying to do boxing, kickboxing, basic TKD kicking, keep my cardio somewhat decent and still do some light weightlifting. My body is super sore. ;P

  • Dude, you're back into tricking at full force! I'm stoked!
