International Triumph Show and Spares Day held at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire. The Renegades http://www.renegade53.co.uk/ have been going for a few years now but this time we had something different on show. We had Tony Norths Pro Street Herald. On the Standard stand behind us they had a custom woody Vanguard. At the end of the show we got the Herald and Vanguard together for a few pics.
The Triumph 2000 Register http://triumph2000register.co.uk/ had a 'barn find' looking Mk1 PI saloon

  • Thanks for the interestin the car. Basically I bought the car as an unfinished project, ripped it apart and started again. I kept the body shell but started everything elsae from scratch, chassis and roll cage, drive train axle, everything - the builders are a company called Thunder Road Speed Shop in the UK. They are contactable via Facebook. The Heralds page is called 'Pro Street Herald' and Thunder Road are in my friends links. Regards Tony

  • Thanx for the tire sizes. Do you have any more info on the build? I'm planning on doing something similar with a Herald in the near future. I think all of the Heralds shipped to the States were either Sebring White or Signal Red...

  • Thanks - the colour is a standard Triumph Valencia Blue. Wheels are Weld Racing wheels - Rears are 12 x 15 with 325/50/15 Mickey Thompson street radials and fronts are 3.5 x 15 with street tyres off off a Smart car of all things! - Should say rear racing tyres are 325's - street tyres are Cooper 295/50/15's

  • Nice color! What size tires and wheels you running?

  • Thanks, it's a wee beastie and getting more 'attitude' every season. Supercharged small block Chevy makes all the noise.
