@tenruck That image works because he has a reserved intensity to him. Hes just walking forward intimidating without much action. The one in the video is screaming and casually walking through the woods. All the posing and movements need to work with expression and flow in an image naturally. Otherwise its awkward when theres no real sense to it.

Paint tool sai is much better for anime/manga or very sharp clean shapes and contrast. I wouldn't recommend it for any typw of styles in this critique. Photoshop and Painter X is a lot more versatile in what you want to do, whereis paint tool sai (imo) is a very bandwagon-ish choice for a hardcore otaku. But to each thier own.
