The Potemkin league teaser

David Maddock, the Daily Mirror columnist, highlighted our project in his recent comment piece 'It's time for the Premier League to take a long hard look at themselves'. Thanks to David for mentioning our film in reference to that particular article.

I would not normally use pre-production footage but in response to David's piece we threw together a very small 2nd teaser clip as an additional visual source for thought.

The Potemkin league examines the situation at Liverpool football to understand what impact the American owners have had on the club, the local community and how is this an issue for the future of football itself. The film engaged in discussion with Liverpool fans, the Spirt of Shankly Supporters Union, ex Walton and Anfield MP Peter Kilfoyle, The Times football editor Tony Evans, football consultants and broadcasters to gain a consensus on what is really taking shape and how it came to occur.
