Hi, thanks for the tutorial :) I did have a question though, I just bought a 1945 model of this projector at a thrift store and it turns on and everything works I'm just concerned that the bulb smokes when it's on. It this normal? It has two bulbs with it, a replacement and the one in the camera, I tried both and both smoke and burn. I'm assuming it's dust but is this hazerdous to plug in because of all the power it draws?

Thanks for posting...I would have been lost without this! Picked up an old Bell and Howell master 400 for 10 bucks..I love it! :) This vid helped me understand it sooo much, even though they are not the same they basically work the same.

This is a good tutorial for those just getting into film and projectors and need some help, especially on a Revere model. I have a similar projector, only mine is a DeJUR 750. True that if you run it too slow, it will burn the film. You should also mention if you play it too fast, it will burn out the lamp very quickly. Great video!

Thnx a lot! I recently bought something similar and it came with absolutely no instruction manual. I tried for hours to figure out how it worked and now, thanks to your video it took me 2 minutes and it's working great!
Great little machine and sounds so healthly for its age. Your dog was determined
to make a 'brief' appearance.. Great video and excellent camerawork backed up by a nice music track.
